2010 Library Reading Challenge total to date: 22 – only 3 away from my goal of 25!

My new job is taking up a lot more time that I thought it would – which results in less reading time. I need to work on finding a balance though. Let’s hope that happens during October!

As usual my August wrap up is late, but only by three days. I didn’t read too much, probably because I was spending too much time outside enjoying the nice weather while it’s here – it’s already starting to feel like fall!

I’ll be starting a new job this month, so I’m not sure how much reading I’ll get done. New jobs always take at least a couple weeks to get used to, so I’ll see how it goes. I’m planning on bringing a book (or maybe even two) with me for breaks and lunches, so I’ll at least get that time to read.

I obviously didn’t get much reading done this month. But really, can you blame me? The weather has been pretty fantastic the last couple weeks except for a major hailstorm. Sometimes you just can’t resist the call of a walk by the river on a pretty day.

The Month In Review: May 2010

I can’t believe May is over already! It’s almost summer and it feels like Christmas was just a couple weeks ago. Anyways, here’s the lowdown on what happened on Geeky Reads during the last month.

Books Reviewed: 2

Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson

The Witching Hour by Elizabeth Laird

Books Borrowed From the Library: 9

Yeah, pretty sad, I know but work has been crazy busy for most of the month. Thankfully things have finally slowed down at work, so I’ll have more time to read and blog. I do have a bunch of reviews ready to go for June though, so I will definitely have more than two! Also keep an eye out for a new feature on Geeky Reads.
