I’ve been a life long reader. Both my parents are big readers too so that’s where I got my love of reading from. In grade 6 we had a monthly contest for the people who read the most number of pages and most number of books. Most months I won both categories – but I let other people get the prizes, I felt kind of bad after awhile.
Since the summer of 2005 I’ve been keeping a notebook of all the books I’ve read. Since I was already writing about them, I figured I might as well turn it into a blog and share what I thought of them.

Aside from reading, I enjoy hiking, photography, gardening, traveling, knitting, and watching TV (The Tudors, Mad Men, and The Amazing Race).
