48 Hour Book Challenge

Are you as excited as me that the 48 Hour Book Challenge is coming up again this weekend? It’s hard to believe that it’s only a few days away.

For all the details click here. I’d really encourage you to participate if you’re even thinking about it. It’s a great way to get some blogging and reading done (I find it really motivating to know that others are doing the exact same thing), plus you get to meet a bunch of bloggers at the same time. It’s a lot of fun.

48 Hour Book Challenge Finish Line

It’s done! I finished reading and blogging at 5 PM today. I think I made out pretty good, although I didn’t make my goal of 20 hours. I finished reading these books:

  • Strange Angels
  • Club Dead
  • Claire de Lune

I started reading:

  • Captivate
  • Very Valentine

I also managed to write 5 posts which will be posted in the next week or two. Four are reviews and one is a new feature I’m thinking of having on my blog every week. You’ll have to wait to see what it is.

In total, I read and blogged for a total of 16.75 hours and read 701 pages. Not too bad for 48 hours.

I hope everyone else who participated had as much fun as I did reading through their TBR piles. Checkout how other people did here at Mother Reader’s Finish Line.

48 Hour Book Challenge

I’m participating in the 48 Hour Book Challenge this weekend hosted by Mother Reader. The idea is to pick a 48 hour time period this weekend and read as much as you possibly can. My 48 hours is from Friday at 5 PM to Sunday at 5 PM. Blogging and writing reviews can also be counted. For all the rules and details check out this post by Mother Reader.

I’m planning on reading and blogging for at least 20 hours. Here are the books that I’m hoping to finish and write reviews for:

  • Strange Angels
  • Club Dead
  • Captivate
  • Claire De Lune
  • Rebel Angels

Good luck to all the other bloggers participating!
