Second Time Sunday (27)

Every Sunday I highlight an older book review that I’ve written. I figure this will give more exposure to books that I enjoyed reading, as well remind people about books that haven’t been in the spotlight lately.

This weeks Second Time Sunday post is:

The Chosen One by Carol Lynch Williams

This has to be one of the best books that I’ve ever read. Ever! It’s that good. If you haven’t read it yet, you need to get yourself to a library or a bookstore and read it immediately!

The Dark Divine by Bree Despain

I really enjoyed this book. It’s the first in a trilogy. Actually now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve read the second book yet. The last book in the series comes out in March of 2012. I can’t wait!

Being Nikki by Meg Cabot

This is the second book in the Airhead series. I just finished the third and final book, and I have to say that I love how it ended. I would definitely recommend this series.

Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris

I love the Sookie Stackhouse books. I really don’t like True Blood though. Maybe it’s because the TV show is so different from the books, or that Hollywood never gets books rights, but I just don’t like True Blood.

The Hollow by Jessica Verday

I have yet to read the second book in this series, but the third one is coming out in September, and I’m super excited about it. I guess that means I need to get to the library and borrow The Haunted so I’ll be able to read The Hidden when it’s released.

Rebel Angels by Libba Bray

This is the second book in the Gemma Doyle series. If you haven’t read them yet, you should, they’re really good. Plus I think Gemma is an amazing character.
