It’s amazing how fast the read-a-thon went by – I guess that’ll happen though when there’s work and other stuff going on. I must be used to having read-a-thon’s going on over the weekend when I can temporarily put my responsibilities on hold to read.
So, because life got in the way, I only managed to finish one book – I’ll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan. If you haven’t read it yet, you have to go out immediately, whether to your local book store or library, and get it. It’s absolutely amazing. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.
If you also participated in the read-a-thon, head on over to Lori’s blog and link to your wrap up post, I’d love to see what everyone else read over the last couple days.
Well, I figure it’s about time to post my starting line post. To check out who else is participating, head on over to Angela’s blog, Reading Angel.
So here are the books I’ll be reading for the read-a-thon:
I’ll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan
Runaway by Meg Cabot
The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong
Good luck to everyone participating! Hopefully you’ve gotten more reading done so far than I have.
I’ve just signed up for a read-a-thon that’s taking place this weekend – Thursday, April 21 to Monday, April 25. It’s being hosted by the wonderful Kristen at Bookworming in the 21st Century.
So if you’re in need of getting some reading done like I do (I have a ton of books out right now from the library that I’m trying to get through before they’re due – I hate taking them back without reading them), then come join in the fun. Click here to sign up.
